The St Edward's Canowindra parents and friends association, has the followings aims:

• the promotion of the close collaboration between the parish community, the professional staff and the parents or guardians of children enrolled in the School, in order to further the cause of Catholic Education;

•  the giving of encouragement and support to parents/guardians in fulfilling their responsibilities for the Catholic education of their children;

• the development of means by which parents/guardians may be helped to participate appropriately in school programs and the formation of policies;

• the provision to

            * assist the on-going faith and educational development of the school community.

            * enable discussion of any matters or issues relating to education. Recommendations resulting from these                discussions may be submitted to the appropriate school authority for consideration in policy-making.
